The Avanti and Justo 2 trainers support 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks and, once configured, will automatically reconnect to the selected network.
When using the trainer in Wi-Fi mode, firmware updates are automatically performed at startup, in the background.
Wi-Fi connectivity offers increased stability and responsiveness during indoor training, improving the trainer’s performance and enabling full use of all its features.
To configure the wireless connection:
-
Pair the trainer with the My E-Training app.
-
Go to the Settings > Wi-Fi menu.
-
Select the desired Wi-Fi network and enter the corresponding credentials.
-
Once the process is complete, the app will confirm the connection.
Note:
If the Wi-Fi network password exceeds 32 characters, it must be shortened to ensure a successful connection.
Automatic firmware update via Wi-Fi network
When connected to a Wi-Fi network, Avanti and Justo 2 trainers can automatically download and install any available firmware updates. The update process consists of two distinct phases:
1. Firmware package download
The trainer checks for new firmware updates every 4 power cycles.
If an update is available, the download will start automatically.
During this phase, the white LED will blink rapidly.
The trainer can still be used normally while the download is in progress.
2. Firmware installation
At the next startup, the trainer will automatically install the downloaded firmware.
During this phase, the blue LED will blink rapidly.
The trainer is not available for use during installation.
It is recommended not to unplug the trainer from the power supply until the update is complete.
Once the process is complete, the trainer will be updated to the latest firmware version available.
Note:
A "power cycle" is defined as:
• unplugging the trainer from the power source and plugging it back in, or
• switching it off via standby mode.
