Here below the video with the instructions in order to correctly replace both belt and black pulley
(Direto - Direto X - Direto XR ):
Please note the following things:
- Please don’t bend or crimp the new belt during the substitution.
- Once the belt has been replaced it is mandatory to correctly tighten it
Belt tightening procedure is done by following the offset value which is placed on the silver label sitted underneath the hometrainer.

CAUTION: The use of an electric screwdriver for tighten the locking screw may damage the product (max torque 2 Nm).
Procedure of Calibration
- Find OFFSET code placed on the back of the trainer;;
- open myE-Training::
Settings
Trainer calibration - start pedaling:
- if your calibration number coincides with the OFFSET code (± 1),
you can use your DIRETO - if your calibration number does NOT coincides with the OFFSET code,
you must repeat the procedure of calibration:
- unlock the tightner screw lock (pic. 4);
- tighten the tensioning screw (pic. 12), 1 offset point equals a half-turn of tension);
- lock the tightner screw lock (pic. 13);
- start pedaling;
- check calibration number:
if this concides with the OFFSET code (± 1), you can use your DIRETO;
if this does NOT coincides, repeat the procedure of calibration
- if your calibration number coincides with the OFFSET code (± 1),
Case Example
If your OFFSET code is 6395, and you are reaching a calibration number of 6392 with
the belt replacement and the 11-turn tensioning, then you need to turn the screw
clockwise of 1 turn and a half to get the 3 residual offset points (3 half turns = 3
offset points)
