Please follow these steps to maximize accuracy while working out on TUO:
- Use the following tightening torque to tighten on the workstand the 4 nuts (M) of the bracket below the unit: 12Nm.
- Tighten the selector (X) clockwise with a 7Nm tightening torque.
- Make sure that tyre pressure is 7.5 bars (we suggest using "Elite Coperton") and position the rear wheel of the bicycle between the two workstand bushings.
- Adjust the left workstand bushing by operating on the ring (K) and the shaft (J) to center the wheel on the red Elastogel roller.
- Adjust the right workstand bushing and align it with the rear bicycle chain stay.
Close the clamp handle (W), make sure the lever starts compressing the quick release within a 55°-65° range.
Fully tighten it.
- Operate the adjusting handle (H) to get the roller close to the wheel until it touches it. Rotate the pre-load lever (Z) clockwise.
- Power up the home trainer and begin with a 10-minute warmup (average power 100/150W).
- After warming up, step off your bicycle, disarm the pre-load lever (Z) and make sure that the tyre is still touching the roller. Otherwise, adjust it again via the adjusting handle (H) and re-arm the lever (Z).
- Conduct the spindown procedure (please check the TUO manual).
- Proceed with your selected workout.
Elite TUO lets you safely conduct sprints and out-of-the-saddle workouts. To improve power accuracy we suggest working out when sitting on the saddle.
