Justo, Justo 2, Avanti, Direto XR, Direto X, Direto, Direto XR Team, Direto XR Cog, Drivo, Drivo 2 and Kura home trainer Power Smoothing function allows to choose how to display power data sent by the trainer to the training app/software in use.
N.B. For Direto XR, Direto X, Direto model, in order to access this function, it is necessary to check via Upgrado that the trainer has been updated to the latest FW version.
Power Smoothing needs to be set on My E-Training.
The Power Smoothing has 4 different setting levels that can be adjusted on the trainer or through the My E-Training app/software, even without an active subscription. For Drivo, Drivo 2, and Kura, there are 10 levels available.
This allows to choose if displaying more accurate or more averaged power data.
Warning: before carrying out the below procedure, please remember (if not already done) to configure the home trainer on My E-Training by the Settings -> Configuration menu.
When using a PC (Windows or Mac):
1: Load My E-Training
2: Choose "Settings"
3: Choose "Power smoothing"
4: The following screen will be dpslayed after a few seconds:
5: Set the Power Smoothing level (1 to 4) using the selector.
For Drivo, Drivo 2, and Kura: 10 levels available.
Power data will be displayed adjusted according to the selected level.
For Mobile devices (Android or iOS)
1: Load My E-Training app
2: Choose "Settings"
3: Choose "Power smoothing"
4: The following screen will be displayed after a few seconds:
5: Set the Power Smoothing level (1 to 4) using the selector.
For Drivo, Drivo 2, and Kura: 10 levels available.
Power data will be displayed adjusted according to the selected level.
General notes:
1: Power Smoothing only affects the power data display.
Power Smoothing has no effect on home trainer resistance changes.
2: Power Smoothing is automatically set at level 3.
3: There might be a slight power oscillation since Justo, Justo 2, Avanti and Direto XR home trainers feature a highly accurate inner power sensor.
This allows to accurately measure each pedaling stroke (therefore power) and also the difference in pushing between the left and right leg.
