The Upgrado app updates the firmware of an interactive home trainer and/or edits some of its configuration parameters - these can modify the operations of a home trainer.
The Upgrado app is only available for the Android and iOS platforms.
Home trainer configurations are stored in a file with the following extension: JSON
The JSON file is created from time to time ad hoc by Elite for the home trainer. Using JSON files not supplied by Elite might alter the operations and cause malfunctions of the home trainer, and will also void its warranty. Each JSON file is specific for the home trainer it's destined to, please do not use a JSON file if it hasn't been created by Elite and you have not been instructed to do so.
Please follow these instructions to load a JSON file on your home trainer when you receive it from Elite.
1-Download the Upgrado app from your online store if you haven't already done so.
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.elite.android.fota&hl=it
iOS: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/upgrado/id1482090297
2-Load the JSON file you received from Elite into your phone/tablet terminal
Android: just load it on the phone/tablet terminal storage memory
iOs: there are two different methods for uploading the required file (for the manual update) that Elite Customer Support sent you.
Method 1: share the file with Upgrado
The file you received via email must be placed in the Upgrado folder:
