The Rizer is compatible with Elite trainers or other brands that allow the bike’s rear hub to rotate when mounted on the trainer.
Elite Trainers
The Rizer is compatible with the following Elite trainers:
Avanti, Avanti Cog
Direto XR, Direto XR-T, Direto XR-T Cog, Direto XR Team
Justo, Justo 2
Rivo, Rivo Cog
Suito, Suito-T
Tuo
These models allow the bike to rotate on the trainer, ensuring correct movement during Rizer use.
Elite trainers not listed above cannot be used with the Rizer as they do not allow proper rotation of the bike’s rear hub.
Using the Rizer with unlisted Elite trainers may cause severe and irreparable damage to the bike frame.
Non-Elite Trainers
Non-Elite trainers must meet two essential requirements to be compatible with the Rizer:
Allow free rotation of the bike’s rear hub when mounted on the trainer.
Be compatible with the ANT+ FE-C protocol, required to transmit training data correctly to the Rizer.
Before purchasing a Rizer, it is essential to verify directly with the trainer manufacturer that the trainer meets both requirements.
You can gently lift the bike’s handlebars to check whether the frame and trainer components can rotate freely without friction.
Using the Rizer with trainers that do not meet these requirements may cause severe and irreparable damage to the bike frame.
Wahoo trainers compatible with the Kickr Climb meet both requirements and can be used with the Rizer. Please check Wahoo’s support site for the list of compatible models.
It is strongly discouraged to use the Rizer with non-compatible trainers.

Elite is not responsible for any damage caused to the bike when using the Rizer with trainers from other brands that do not meet the above requirements.
Rizer / Trainer Transmission Protocol
The Rizer receives incline commands directly from the trainer (not from the app/software).
Elite interactive trainers transmit data via ANT+ FE-C (except for Rivo/Rivo Cog, which connect to the Rizer via Bluetooth Smart, as they are not ANT+ compatible). Updating to the latest firmware ensures optimal performance and improved incline simulation. You can check for the latest firmware using the Upgrado app.
Most interactive trainers from other brands transmit data via ANT+ FE-C and are therefore compatible with the Rizer transmission protocol.
Bikes
The Rizer comes with dedicated adapters and can be used with bikes that have front hubs of the following sizes:
