ATTENTION: Real software has officially been discontinued in the year 2021, this means that no new functions will be developed and we'll no longer supply assistance in case of any malfunction.

For the calibration procedure with new software/app myE-Training click on this link: Calibration interactive hometrainers with myE-Training app/software
If you prefer to continue using the old software, here is the procedure for calibrating the ANT wireless hometrainers with Real software.
NOTE: To do the calibration, you must have a bicycle with a tool to detect the power ( ergometer like PowerTap, SRM - etc . ).
THIS CALIBRATION IS COMPATIBLE WITH:
REALTOUR ANT
REALAXIOM ANT
REALPOWER ANT
REAL E-MOTION ANT
THIS CALIBRATION IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH:
REALTOUR B+
REALAXIOM B+
REAL E-MOTION B+
REALTURBOMUIN B+
REALTURBOMUIN ANT
The calibration procedure allows you to tell the program exactly how much resistance generates the roller & bike on three different conditions of speed and endurance. In this way the program is able to display and brakes more accurately compared to standard conditions.
For this reason it is necessary to pedal at 3 different speeds with different resistance settings.
During the test it is necessary to take note of the power values shown on the ergometer .
The operations to do it are the following :
- Download this file AxtoANT
- Unzip the file to the Desktop
- Power off the unit
- Remove the batteries from the console
- Check that the ANT USB stick is plugged into the computer
- Insert the batteries on the console and avoid to hold your hand in contact with the front touch buttons otherwise the calibration is done incorrectly. ( only in case of RealAxiom ANT and RealPower ANT )
- The console has 3 LEDs , if the right one is NOT flashing , proceed to the next step , otherwise press the touch "up arrow" and "down arrow" keys simultaneously until the right LED stops flashing ( at this time the console is waiting for a connection ). ( only in case of RealAxiom ANT and RealPower ANT )
- Re-insert the power supply jack ( in case of the unit RealAxiom ANT and RealTour ANT, at this time the step motor moves inside this unit , producing a small vibration for a few seconds , in the case of RealPower ANT, it doesn’t produce any vibration )
- Run the software AxtoANT previously unzipped to the Desktop
- Change the value of "Roll diameter " depending on the unit you are going to connect , RealTour = 30, RealAxiom = 40, RealPower = 45, Real Emotion = 85 ( see picture with " Yellow " arrow)
- Uncheck the HR and Console box upper the Green button.
- Press the “Connect” button , as in the image and "Green" arrow
- Wait until a confirmation message appears on the screen, "Connesso" ( connected )
- To check that the unit is connected, press the "Update" button, as shown in the picture with the "Blue" arrow and check the unit serial number under " Trainer" ( comparable with the value written under the unit) .
- Check that speed values are read, by pressing the "Start" button , as indicated by the arrow in the image with "Black"
Calibration of the 3 values:
- Enter the number 0 inside the box , and press " Send Resistance " as in the picture with the " Red " arrow.
- Pedaling at a speed of 40 km / h , you can check the speed through the panel to the left of the blue box .
- Take a note of the power value you can read on the ergometer, try to read it when it is quite stable and mark it on a separate sheet as P3.
- Enter the number 60 inside the box , and press " Send Resistance " as in the picture with the " Red " arrow.
- Pedaling at a speed of 30 km / h , you can check the speed through the panel to the left of the blue box .
- Take a note of the power value you can read on the ergometer, try to read it when it is quite stable and mark it on a separate sheet as P2.
- Enter the number 100 inside the box , and press " Send Resistance " as in the picture with the " Red " arrow.
- Pedaling at a speed of 20 km / h , you can check the speed through the panel to the left of the blue box .
- Take a note of the power value you can read on the ergometer, try to read it when it is quite stable and mark it on a separate sheet as P1.
Then click on Disconnect, close the software AxtoANT, and run the software Real.
Over the connection, click on "Settings" -> "Calibration Resistance Unit", and insert the three values P1 P2 P3 just found.
