ROUVY is an indoor training platform that combines virtual routes, real-world videos (augmented reality), and structured training programs. It allows you to ride on courses from around the world directly from home, while monitoring power, cadence, speed, and heart rate.
Thanks to compatibility with smart trainers, classic trainers, and external sensors, it offers a realistic and engaging experience for every cyclist.
Before setting up your trainer on ROUVY, make sure you have:
A compatible trainer (smart trainer, smart bike, or classic/turbo trainer with sensors).
The trainer powered on and, if needed, connected to an external power source.
An active connection (Bluetooth, ANT+, or Wi‑Fi), depending on the type of trainer.
For ANT+ trainers, a USB ANT+ stick connected to a free port on your PC, if required.
Note: To check if your trainer is compatible with ROUVY, see the official list of supported trainers: ROUVY Compatible Trainers
Step-by-step Setup
Open the ROUVY app and log into your account.
Click the “SENSORS” icon at the top right of the home page.
Make sure the selected connection (Bluetooth, ANT+, or Wi‑Fi) is active and working.

Choose the trainer model from the available list.
If the trainer is smart or smart bike and supports resistance control, select it as “Controllable / Controllabile”.
If the trainer is classic / turbo (without automatic resistance control), pair a speed sensor or power meter.
(Optional) Add other sensors, such as cadence or heart rate, if available.
Click “Save & Close” to complete the pairing.
Select the desired route and start riding using the “Ride / Start Ride” button.
This video shows how to prepare your bike for indoor training, connect your smart trainer to the app, and start riding immediately:
Useful Tips
Disconnect the trainer or sensors from other apps or devices before pairing.
Update your trainer to the latest firmware (check the version via the Upgrado app) before pairing.
Ensure the trainer is set as “Controllable” or that sensors such as speed / power are properly configured.
In case of connection issues, close any conflicting apps and check the Bluetooth / ANT+ connection.
