If you receive a new electronic board with the ground cable as shown in the picture below (black cable):
Follow the procedure described in the video but before installing the board remove the screw highlighted below with a Phillips-head screwdriver PH2.
Insert on the screw the metal ring positioned at the end of the cable and then refix it.

If you receive a new electronic board with the ground cable as shown in the picture below
Integrate the procedure described in the video above with the following step before closing the panel of the trainer to assemble the ground cable:
- bend the cable slightly to give it a shape favorable to installation
- place the highlighted screw in the shell and on the inside part insert the metal ring positioned at the end of the cable:
At last, fix and tighten the screw of the panel and then all the others to completely assemble the cover.

REAL TURBOMUIN / REAL TURBOMUIN B+
1) It is absolutely necessary to discharge the accumulated static electricity during the following operations to avoid damaging the electronic board drivers
- Use a proper antistatic wrist strap, available in electronics store.
- Alternatively, we can discharge the static electricity on our body by touching a radiator, a faucet or any grounded metallic appliance (this can be done multiple times during the following operations).
2) Remove the three screws that hold the plastic cover in place on the aluminium shell.
3) Make sure you discharged the static electricity accumulated on your body (see point 1). Use a screwdriver to remove the three screws that hold the electronic board on the aluminium shell.
4) Gently remove the switch, the stepping motor and speed sensor connectors using a small screwdriver (without pulling the wires) to avoid damaging the board components and the cables.
5) Remove the screw that connects the ground cable of the electronic board to the aluminium shell.
6) Replace the electronic board. Make sure you discharged the static electricity accumulated on your body (see point 1). While handling the electronic board try to hold it by its edges without touching the electronic components on its upper and lower parts. Attach the ground cable (yellow and green) to the aluminum shell.
7) Gently insert the three connectors (depicted as follows) in the same positions they had been previously removed from.
8) Make sure you discharged the static electricity accumulated on your body (see point 1). Attach the electronic board to the aluminium shell by tightening the three screws you previously removed.
9) Test motor movement by connecting the power supply. The positioning shaft will touch the switch at its minimum level, then will set in the default position (about 2 cm from the switch, depicted as follows).
10) Once you made sure that the braking system moves properly, close the white cover by tightening the three screws, make sure you don't pinch the three cables connected to the board.
11) Once again test the braking unit by inserting again the power supply. The home trainer should now make a buzzing noise that lasts about 10 seconds, which means that the board replacement operations has been properly conducted
