Should it malfunction (crashing or unexpectedly shutting off), you might sometimes have to completely uninstall the myE-Training software on MAC and its related database files, then proceed with a new installation from scratch.
Below is the procedure to follow:
WINDOWS
Select folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\MyETraining
Select and double click on the unins000.exe file
After double-clicking, confirm and proceed with uninstalling the software.
At the end of the procedure:
Display hidden folders: Link for instructions on how to display hidden folders.
Create a new folder on your PC by following this : C:\Users\"nome_utente_PC"\AppData\Roaming
Procedure:
_display a new window
_click on "This PC", then "C:\"
_then click on "Users"
_ click on your username
_ click in the space right next to:
_then add the rest of the line: "\AppData\Roaming"
_Select ENTER on the keyboard
_delete the MyETraining folder
After deleting the folder:
Go to: https://www.elite-it.com/en/products/app-software/my-e-training
Download the myE-Training software again
Proceed with the installation once the download has been completed.
At the end of the installation, check the operation.
Should the issue persist, open a ticket by clicking here
The uninstall and delete process does not delete your application history.
If you have downloaded videos, simply download them again.
MAC
- Open the Finder and find the My E Training app among the applications
- Select the app icon and drag it to the Trash folder
- Open the Trash folder
- Right-click on the My E Training app in the list and choose Delete Now
At the end of the procedure, open a new folder in the MAC, following the path:
<Library>\Application Support\com.elite-it.met.mac.myetraining
This folder contains the videos and databases and some other files.
Select the folder and delete it completely.
After deleting the folder:
Go to: https://www.elite-it.com/en/products/app-software/my-e-training
Download the myE-Training software again
Proceed with the installation once the download has been completed.
At the end of the installation, check the operation.
